iPad zotero, pdf

I use desktop zotero (Windows PC) and iOS zotero (iPad). I do not use zotero online storage. I save pdf files on onedrive storage. I cannot read pdf file on iOS zotero. I want to read pdf files on iPad. Please help me.

I am Japanese. I am not good at English so well. I am sorry.
  • The iOS app only supports stored files, not linked files.
  • Thank you so much.
  • I hope we can read pdf files on iPad zotero. (request)
  • You can read and annotate PDF files. It just doesn’t support linked files, and it won’t in the future.
  • Can we store a part (not all) of my files?

Yes. In Zotero desktop, just select the linked file(s) you want to move back into local Zotero storage, and then use Tools\Manage Attachments\Convert Linked Files To Stored Files.

As long as you have File Syncing turned ON, and are under your online file storage quota (300 mb free), the selected file(s) will be synced online - including to the web library and the mobile apps. Note that any other files *already* in local storage will also sync online, also using your online file storage quota.

When you want to move attachment files back to your linked file folder, use zotmoov or attanger.
  • I succeeded in reading pdf files on iPad zotero. Thank you so much.
