Help Needed with Endnote Transfer

Having more or less stopped writing ten years ago, I put my Endnote library on Zotero in the hope others would find it useful. The transfer didn't work all that well, with useful details disappearing. Some of the material is archival, and the archive signatures didn't make the transfer. Well, I had a text file of the contents which included some of the archival signatures, so I tried to add that as a file titled "OOO-README.txt".

When I am logged in, the text file opens for me. When I am logged out and trying to access it, nothing happens. That makes it useless for visitors.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

  • You can't share files via your public library (or a public group), which is why the README.txt won't open

You could paste the contents of that file into a standalonenote (The first line of the note will serve as it's title, so adding 000-README or so there will sort it to the top). Notes can be pretty big, so that should work.
