Running Zotero on Server

Can Zotero be run on a server?

For a variety of reasons out of my control, the Zotero for Groups may not be an option in my work setting. It would be best if we could install Zotero on our server and store our library there for all of us to access and add to. Is this possible to do? (I didn't see anything about installing to a server in the documentation.)

    The Zotero data server is open-source and can be run locally, which some organizations choose to do, but this can be technically challenging, and we don't currently provide support for such installations.
