Need help! Add attachment doesn’t work

Recently, when I tried to add a stored copy to an article, I couldn't find the pdf from the Zotero desktop while the pdf of that article is in my folder. Does anyone know why this happens?

  • I'm not sure what you mean there. If you're saying you don't see the same files, I'd guess that you're looking at a different folder with the same name.
  • But I was looking at the same folders, isn’t that weird?
  • I'm saying I suspect that's not the case.

    If you think it is, switch to list view in each (which shows timestamps), take screenshots, and then press Cmd-Up-Arrow in each to see the parent folder and take screenshots of that.

    You can also click the drop-down in the Add File dialog and Ctrl-click on the folder name in the Finder window to see the full path to each folder.
