Book saved as webpage

I went to this website

And used the Firefox zotero add-on to import it into Zotero.

But the entry is saved as a webpage and not as a book.

You'll find that this happens a lot. It's not Zotero's fault -- the webpage you're looking at doesn't expose the right kind of information for the Zotero connector to interpret it as a book.

A few options:
- save it as-is using the Zotero connector, then edit the metadata in Zotero (changing the item type from Web Page to Book)
- copy the ISBN, then in Zotero, File > Add by Identifier, and paste the ISBN
- search for the book somewhere else, like Google Books or a library catalog, and save it from there

(I'd very much recommend library catalogs or ISBN search -- which uses catalogs -- over Google Books, which has pretty mediocre book metadata)

Good point. To be honest, many library catalogs also contain pretty mediocre book metadata. I always save by ISBN and make any necessary corrections.
