The connector fails to save an arXiv page if the URL ends with a '#' (for example, https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.16311#). In this case, the connector sends a request to https://export.arxiv.org/api/query?id_list=2305.16311#&max_results=1, which results in a status code 400 due to the unexpected hashtag in the query parameter.
