How to change a form of citation

Hello! My references are in parentheses (), for example (K. Dalton, 2004).
But I would like to change them to square brackets [ 1 ]. I thought I needed to change something in settings but I couldn`t find the right place.

Please advise!

In your Word document, in the Zotero tab go to "Document Preferences". There you can change the citation style and install one of the 10,000 styles we have. We have more than 900 so-called numeric styles, some with square brackets:
