Searchable PDF files not searchable within Zotero

Hi,

I have a problem in Zotero.

I can select the text in certain PDF files outside of Zotero (Preview app in macos), but when I try to do it inside the program, no results appear; I cant't highlight or select the text of those PDFs.

Does anyone know how to fix it or if there are any settings I need to change.

I'm having the same problem. Sad. I haven't found a solution so far. Interestingly, when I drag in zotero after making a selection using adobe, zotero automatically translates the highlights.

I updated the version and the problem was solved.
