Creating links within PDFs

In Acrobat, a feature I frequently use is creating links from one part of a document to another (for example when a footnote cites an earlier section). Is this a feature one might ever expect to find in our Zotero PDF reader?

This is in Acrobat Pro 2020: I select a word or sentence and then click 'Create Link...' in the context menu. The dialogue then gives three possibilities: 'Go to a page view' (the one I typically use), 'Open a file', and 'Open a web page.'

Right now in the Zotero reader, you can add highlighted words to a note, which then links from the note back to that section. I can do that with two disparate sections and then drag those notes so they're adjacent to each other in the note, which then lets me navigate back and forth that way, but that's quite a bit more cumbersome compared to Acrobat's single click, not having to leave the page.
