Upgrade Storage"Note" in the right sidebar of an item is different when in library and in pdf file
Thank you for Zotero 7! This is the best reference manager I have ever used.
But I want to give a suggestion.
In the following screenshot, the note for this paper is together with other information of this item.

But in the PDF reading pages, the note for this paper is like this:

It is distinguished from the basic information of the item, and I don't think this is necessary. Just keep the notes with the information of the item, like in "Library" would be much better for me to manage my note of this item.

dstillmanIt's different because there's different functionality. In the library view, there are only child notes for the item you're viewing. In the reader, there are both child (item) notes and standalone notes, allowing you to work on a single note across different files.

tangjintongI still think this design in the reader is unnecessary. Maybe we can choose how to manage our notes in the future versions?
