In text citations not matching bibliography

Hello,

I am having an issue with the in-text citations number not matching the number for the reference in the bibliography. In the bibliography, the reference is # 16 (which is correct in terms of the number of references) but then in the text the citation shows up as 1. No other citations/references have this issue and there is another reference being correctly cited as 1.

You likely have automatic updating of citations disabled (you may have seen a popup asking to disable it after Zotero took a long time to do an update). This is often the case if your document has many citations in it.

Try clicking the Refresh button in the Zotero tab to update all of the citations. You can also re-enable automatic updates from the Document Preferences window.
