Zotero doesn't open on my computer

I've just switched computers from a PC to a Mac and I downloaded zotero on my computer. When I try to open the application, a message appears saying the that Zotero's database cannot be open, to check if I have rights to access Zotero and to ensure that there isn't a security software blocking the access. All of which there isn't, that I know of. Then Zotero closes. How can I solve it?

    You'll need fix the file permissions on the Zotero data folder, which are incorrect from the transfer. We can't provide general OS guidance here, but you can fix the permissions in Finder from the bottom of the File → Get Info window for the data folder so that your macOS user account has read and write permissions for that folder and all files and folders within it.
