Name order for bibilography

I am working with Chicago Manual, so my cites need to be first name then last name, but my bibliography needs to be last name first. I've been manually toggling the author field on each entry before exporting my bibliography, but is there a faster way to get my bibliography to show as Last Name, First Name while keeping my citations First Name Last Name?
  • The Chicago style already does this. You definitely should not be editing the data each time. It sounds like you’re not using the word processor plugin?

  • You're right. I've been exporting directly from Zotero. I was taught to do that instead of the Word plugin (I don't remember why), but when I tried creating the bibliography from Word, it worked. Thank you. That fixed my issue, but I am curious why Zotero doesn't reverse the name order to match CMOS formatting when exporting a biblio from Zotero directly. Thanks again!
  • It does -- there are separate note/citation and bibliography options when creating a bibliography in Zotero:
