selecting the right spot to "pull" the details panel back into visibility

Maybe I'm just clumsy, but I found it very hard to get the mouse in the right spot to make the details panel reappear after I had pulled it aside for a moment. It was hard with both the trackpad and the mouse. Maybe the "target" could be a little bigger?
I'm using Zotero 7 on Windows with the "new, less cluttered" view.

Note that you don't need to pull it — you can just click one of the sidenav icons. View → Layout → Item Pane also works.

We may also add a dedicated button to the sidenav to toggle the item pane — it seems like more people have been closing and reopening it in regular usage than we expected.

Hi there - just wanted to chime in that I agree a dedicated button for toggling the item pane would be a welcome addition. If you don't have any item in a library selected, you don't get any of the sidenav icons being activated. I now see you can get that pull-out arrow if you put your cursor on the right spot, but I didn't even realize that was an option, it's not apparent at all.

I toggle back and forth with the item pane quite a bit. That icon we used to have on Zotero 6 was tiny, but I knew where to click if I wanted to get the bar back. Also, the ability to resize the item pane without collapsing it is problematic for me, it just seems so big? Thank you!!
