Upgrade StorageAdd items by identifier broken in Z 7.0.7 (and at least one previous) on Ubuntu 24.04
I find the "add items by identifier" extremely useful to create records by pasting in an ISBN or doi but the function isn't working for me now. The input box appears and I can type into it but if I hit the control key, or ctrl-v to paste a copied ISBN or doi into the box it immediately disappears. I am sure this is NOT a zotero problem really as it only happens on my main machine but not on a fallback machine also running up-to-date Ubuntu 24.04 nor on Windows (running in a VM on the machine on which the problem happens). I suspect that it relates to things that aren't sorted in the Ubuntu 24.04/gnome/wayland systems as I have hit a number of problems with the 22.04 to 24.04 Ubuntu upgrade that seem to relate to wayland. I putting this here in hope that others may have hit this and found a fix, or in case any zotero developer has a sense of the probable issue. TIA, (and thanks for zotero: brilliant program), Chris
