Editing Metadata on imported pdf

Hi,

I've run into this problem several times now wherein I import a pdf from a file (both drag & drop and via the "+" upload file) and the metadata is not editable. On the "info" tab I'm unable to click on anything to edit and when I 'right click' (on a Mac) there is no edit option.

How can I edit the info?

That's the web library. That's not the actual Zotero desktop app that people are referring to when they talk about "Zotero" and that all documentation on this site is referring to.

Start by installing Zotero, and then read through Adding Items to Zotero, including Standalone Attachments and Parent Items.

Hello and thank you for responding so quickly. I had not understood what the Parent Items creation meant but have it figure out.
