Library on desktop PC sync problem

Hi,

I was copying 25 items at once from subfolder A to subfolder B on my Windows desktop PC Zotero app. After copying the 25 items I removed them from the subfolder A.

I sync my library with zotero.org. The library is partially synced as on zotero.org as I see the 25 items copied to the folder B but only some are deleted in the folder A.

No error message was shown, but in Error console I found this:

[unrelated error removed — D.S.]

  • So now I started Debug Output Logging (debug ID: D393303666) and copied one item from subfolder A to subfolder B and then deleted the item from subfolder B.
    These changes correctly synced with zotero.org web library. But still the problem above occurs.
  • My solution:

    I unlinked my zotero account with the removal of all zotero files on my desktop PC and set up the sync all over again and everything is ok now.
  • Some co-workers at our library reported me a similar issue. We use Zotero to coordinate the acquisitions at our institution. However, sync issues may lead to duplicate orders. Are there any news about this? Is anyone looking into this? Would be good to know if this is a known issue, or if there's something you can do to prevent this from happening.
