Zotero not formatting the selected style

Not sure if the snipped screenshot images below can be viewed, but the bibliography output seems "stuck" on a style that I don't even recognize, no matter if I choose APA or MLA, the output continues to be a single-spaced, no hanging indent format...
Thank you for your help.

  • That's APA style with some odd things in the Extra field (likely as Medium:) in the metadata and incorrect spacing/indenting.

The style hasn't changed -- I'd suspect what you're seeing is an effect of Word changing the default paste behavior to "Merge", i.e. applying some of the formatting of the target document when copying citations. I think you can still use source formatting on paste. You can also create bibliographies as RTF or use the Word add-on to get the correct spacing and indenting.
  • Yes!! Thank you! I went to WORD File>Options>Advanced and changed the "Pasting From Other Programs" from "Merge" to "Keep Source Formatting." I have never changed that setting (didn't even know it existed--googled how to get there just now) so how that happened is a mystery.
I am very grateful for your prompt expertise.
