Where did the letters go to distinguish articles by the same author/same year in APA 7th edition?
With Word, when there are multiple articles by the same author published in the same year, it used to be necessary to add a letter (a, b, c) after the year of publication in in-text citations.
Now, Zotero adds the second author instead, which does not comply with APA 7th edition guidelines.
Is this a bug in the new version? There were no issues with this in the past.

adamsmithIf the 2nd author is different, it's correct APA style to list them rather than using a,b,c -- that's been the case since (at least) the 6th edition of the APA guide and has been part of Zotero's APA style for at least 10 years.

bwiernikYes, APA style only adds letters after the year if the author sets are identical
