"hide annotation colors" not work in notes and impossible to remove in Word

Toggling between show/hide annotation colors will not display correctly: annotation colors remain visible in notes even when selecting "hide."

Moreover, when exporting the note to Word the colors remain visible. But worst of all is that there is no way to remove the colors from the Word document!! Applying the "no color" option from the "text highlight color" tool in Word will not remove the color highlights.

I am on Zotero 7 latest version on Mac.

    1) Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins?
    2) Does it happen with all notes containing annotations?

    solution: I have found that in the Zotero note I can use the "highlight text" tool to remove the color highlights and it removes them permanently. Toggling the show/hide annotation colors will not work, however; or the "text highlight color" tool in Word will not remove the color highlights if I did not export the note with the highlights already removed by the above method.

    We need to figure out why the show/hide options aren't working for you. Could you answer the two questions I asked above?
