Word 2007 Plugin Umlaute

Hi,

I write a seminar paper in Word 2007 and use the current version of the plugin zotero winword integration 3.03a and zotero version 2.02c.
I have a problem with German Umlauten "ü" , "ö", "ä" my citation style uses UTF-8 and I also set the Word 2007 Encoding under options -> general -> web options to UTF-8 and saved. I also updated the bibliography but I still have the problem that "Umlaute" are not displayed right. For Example: ü = _u
Looked now for sometime but couldnt find a fix.
Would be nice if you guys could give me a hint.

    I have the same problem GURADON has. The ü in München is appearing as a box in my Bibliography in Word2007. I have tride different character coding under "preferences" but that seems not to make any difference. Please advice.

    sorry for the late response but was on vacation.
    1. it is possible that the Umlaut is broken in the Zotero Database. So go in Zotero and retype the citation that is not displayed right. Encountered this problem several times when I added a journal over ISBN or DOI.

    2. Remember to restart firefox after you changed your style and installed it.

    3. Change language setting in the zotero hidden preferences

    1. about:config
    2. type in the filter field zotero
    3.
    change values for:
    extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale
    extensions.zotero.export.bibliographySettings
    to "de" instead of "en"
    restart firefox and refresh zotero in your word document
