Upgrade StorageiOS: Space missing at line break in highlighted text

I am having a problem that is not mentioned in the original post, but is illustrated there.
I have replicated this issue using highlight, underline, on a PC, on a macbook, with apple pencil, without apple pencil, while using the apple magic keyboard, while using my iPad as an extended display for my mac (where it doesn't happen, but that's because it is going through my Mac)... It ONLY happens when I am using the iPad ios app either with or without apple pencil.

The annotation from the iPad has deleted the space between words at the line break. In the sidebar, the annotation says, "Rogers also recordedpieces in which..." because "recorded" and "pieces" are on separate lines in the highlighted text. The original pdf says:
Rogers also recorded
pieces in which...
The annotation from the mac has NOT deleted the space at the line break. In the image sidebar, it says, "...he also anticipated developments that later..." even though there is a line break between "anticipated" and "developments." The original pdf says:
...he also anticipated
developments that later...
If I had highlighted that on my iPad, it would have said, "...he also anticipateddevelopments that later..." with the space deleted. I have to go in and manually edit every single annotation from the iPad app.
This is a MAJOR pain. Is there any way this will also be added to the next fix? (Also, any idea on timing for the next fix? I've specifically bought an iPad so I can annotate through Zotero...)
