Linking translator to Book Section rather than Book
Hi
I just wondered if anybody had a workaround for the following issue concerning edited collections.
In a collection of papers, each Book Section might have its own translator, i.e. the translator belongs to the chapter rather than the book as a whole. The bibliographic entry, therefore, should look like this:
[Author], [Chapter Title], trans. by [Translator], in [Book Title], ed. by [Editor], ([Place]: [Publisher], [Date]), [Pages]
However, by default Zotero links the translator with the book not the section, so you get:
[Author], [Chapter Title], in [Book Title], ed. by [Editor], trans. by [Translator], ([Place]: [Publisher], [Date]), [Pages]
which is incorrect and misleading.
Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know if there is an automatic solution, or do I just have to keep an eye out for these & correct them manually once the bibliography has been created?
Thanks
Dennis

When hierarchical types are implemented, this sort of thing will be easier to control.
I'll hold on for hierarchical types then. Incidentally, hierarchical types will solve another issue--that of citing multiple Book Sections from the same "master" Book--won't it? That will be a great enhancement. Any idea when we can expect it? (Also any dates for the new CSL editor?)
