Can t insert a bibliography in NeoOffice

Hi,
I am using NeoOffice 3.0.1 patch 3 and zotero 2.0.2. Last night I edited my paper, inserting all the citations/references (Chicago style-author date). I saved the file, went to bed and this morning I wanted to proofread the paper and insert the bibliography. Well it seems I can t insert it through the Zotero plug-in. It says to me that I "must insert a citation before performing this operation". Any suggestion?

    Have you removed the field codes accidentally? Maybe you have a back-up of your Neo document with field codes still intact? Did you insert the the citations with the plugin in the first place?

    If all else fails: you may search and replace the parenthesis in your citations with squirley brackets and run the RTF-Scan to re-connect your text-citations with Zotero's library.
    Or else: pick all the cited stuff (in your text) in the Zotero library and use the quickcopy feature to paste it into your text. Neither is ideal, both are better than typing your bibliography by hand. Good luck.

    thanks for your reply... but how can I know if have removed the field codes?

    problem solved. I had saved the file in .doc whereas if I want to keep the field codes i have to save it in odt.
