magic wand finding neither DOI nor PMID

Hi, I read the thread from August about a temporary DOI blackout. But I tried with a DOI and also with a PMID (in both cases, I tried the whole URL and also after deleting everything but the identifier)

In each case it says "Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again."

I was trying to add this record via the magic wand because the Zotero connector isn't working for this paper in Firefox or Chrome, even after I restarted Zotero and reinstalled the connector. (Caveat: I only reinstalled the connector in Firefox). I noticed that the connector seems to be using the Highwire translator -- I don't know if that's right for BMJ.)

I didn't do all the steps at https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues because I have to go about my day :) and I was able to add it via zotero.org/save.

Both are working for me, both via Add Item by Identifier and the Connector. Can you provide a Debug ID for an Add Item by Identifier attempt that fails?

(Note that the first URL won't work as a URL in Add Item by Identifier — that would have to be just the PMID. The DOI will be extracted from the second URL.)

Hi -- that's good to know about URL/PMID, thanks. And, I can't provide a DeBug ID because it's working fine now :) (via magic wand and via connector). Hoorah! No idea why but I will take it.
