Upgrade StorageHow to remove short note from footnotes

I am using Chicago 17th edition (note, with ibid.).
Right now a footnote looks like this :
1 O’Shea, The Making of Irish Traditional Music, 2.
Whereeas, I want the Short note to be removed. So like this:
1 O’Shea, 2.
Is there a better style, or a way to remove the short note?
