Feedback on the Zotero7 Drawing Features
I would like to share some feedback regarding the new drawing feature in the latest version of Zotero. This addition makes it much easier to annotate scanned literature, which I appreciate. However, I've noticed that the default color for drawings is blue, and the size is set to 2.0. This setting does not align with my personal annotation preferences. I would love the option for users to define their own default settings, or at least have any changes persist as the default for future documents. Currently, every time I make adjustments, I have to reset them for new documents, which is quite inconvenient.
Additionally, I found that the undo (command + z) and redo (shift + command + z) functions for drawing are not functioning at all. These features are essential for a smooth workflow, and I hope you can implement them. It would also be helpful to add an eraser tool for making small adjustments.
Furthermore, I hope that the desktop version's drawing notes can include a feature for merging notes, similar to what is available on the iPad. Sometimes, multiple lines of a single paragraph get split into several notes, which can be quite inconvenient.
Thank you for considering my suggestions, and I look forward to seeing improvements in future updates.

All three things are planned.
