Upgrade Storage[Feature Request] Option to create a blank file/linked-file in the "add attachment" menu
Hi, first of all thank you for such a nice piece of software!! I love it!!
I open this discussing because I think that it would be interesting to have an option to create "any" kind of files (file link) from the menu appearing when adding attachments.
What I mean is that instead of "adding" an existing file, sometimes I find myself trying to "create" a file (eg a script to compute some of the calculations for a certain reference). For the moment, my workflow is to create the file separately using another software, add it as an attachment so it is linked to the reference, and then work on the file, change it or do whatever update on it.
I feel that for the notes themselves a file is created somewhere. This could be similar, but with freedom for choosing the extension plus the program that opens it.
I don't know where exactly this option should appear, but I feel that it could go on the system dialog. BTW, adding new folders from the same contextual dialog would also come handy.
