Zotero Slow on iPad

I’m using Zotero on my iPad Pro (2021 M1), and it won’t let me write any notes with the pen (I mean very very very slow). There’s a delay of 10 seconds or more, and it’s impossible to focus. My iPad is running iOS 18.0, and the Zotero app is up to date (did they change the icon?). I really need to finish this reading tonight—any help would be appreciated!

    Hey @ftanizawa, by notes do you mean writing on a note item, or adding a comment in an annotation? Can you also let us know what are your apple pencil preferences (in the Settings.app)?

    I meant drawing a line/word/shape with a pen on the PDF :) I use my Apple pencil (double touch to use eraser)
