Upgrade StorageiOS: Connecting to a WebDAV server with a self-signed certificate

My WebDAV is on my own server, using HTTPS with an IP address, and all certificates are private. Is this also a reason for the inability to connect? Can this bug be modified? For example, relaxing security restrictions or prompting that the certificate is untrusted and requiring manual confirmation.
