Getting Error saving key with ZotEZ2

Hi There

I am using ZotEZ2 Android client. From time to time I need to reconnect to my Zotero Library which I have done many times in the past.

Since a couple of days ago I am getting "Error saving key" with ZotEZ2 error message.

So this is when I...
Launch ZotEZ2 > Start Setup > Database Location : Automatic Setup : Yes > Next.
From the Zotero login window
Type in Username and password tick Remember me > Login to Zotero.

From Zotero > Security > New Key: An application would like to connect to your accountL
The application " " would like to access your account
Keyname: ZotEZ2
Tap Accept Defaults

Then "Error saving key message is displayed.

Is the a Zotero problem or is there an issue with ZotEZ2?

  • Hi all, same issue when connecting a new Android device (Samsung Tablet A9+) to an existing account.
    The key appears in the list of "all access keys", but with empty "last used IP" and "last access".

    This prevents me from moving past the sign in, accessing Zotero from the device.
