Search text disappears when clicking on a collection

Hi Zotero team,

I encountered an issue while searching within Zotero. When I enter a search query and then click on a collection in the left-hand panel, the search text I entered disappears. This disrupts the workflow when navigating between collections while searching.

Steps to Reproduce:
Enter a search term in the search bar.
Click on a collection in the left-hand panel.
The search text disappears from the search bar.

Expected behavior:
The search text should remain in the search bar when switching between collections, allowing the user to search for the same term across multiple collections without re-entering it. A typical use case: currently in a collection folder, I could click "My library" to search for items in the entire library without re-entering.

Actual behavior:
The search text is cleared when switching to a different collection.

Environment:
Zotero version: 7.0.3
Operating system: MacOS 14.6.1 (23G93)
