[Feature Request] Ability to paste delimited strings into Tags Panel text-field
Description:
It would benefit Zotero users if we could copy and paste a delimited string of keywords into a Tags text-field, where Zotero would automatically separate them into individual tags. Maybe this can become a generalized Tags-setting i.e. each string can be separated by any predefined delimiter e.g. comma, (semi-)colon, dot, end-of-line character, or tab etc.
Issue addressed:
Zotero provides tags automatically only if they have been provided by the API for bibliographic metadata associated with each DOI. Unfortunately, not all DOI metadata contain keywords. Some journals publish a delimited number of keywords in each article. Manually adding these keywords as tags can be cumbersome and time-consuming if you need to add a large number of articles to Zotero.

The same method works for creator-fields. Here you can keep the comma, separating the first and last name (or vise-versa) in the strings. You use the "Switch to Single or Two field" button next to the Creator-field, to switch first and last names.
This method saves a lot of time to manually add fields to the item's metadata in cases where Zotero was unable to retrieve the metadata automatically.
BTW: is this method of pasting line-break separated strings into a field documented somewhere? If so, I missed it :(
