Zotero did not start anymore due to Cisco Secure Client !?

My Zotero installation did not start anymore. When I clicked on the icon or exe-file, 'nothing' happend. I tried to re-install it but the problem remained.
I am on my Windows 10 Edu work laptop.
Trying to start it via C:\Program Files\Zotero\zotero.exe -P would also not work.
Starting it in troubleshooting mode via SHIFT-key has eventually worked after disabling some Cisco Security Process in the task manager. Is Cisco Secure Client the culprit?
Do you have any suggestions how to permanently fix this without disabling or comprimising the security software?

As far as we know this is fixed, but it's possible your institution isn't immediately applying updates from Cisco. You'd have to ask them.
