unable to add citations using keep sources sorted
I recently switched to Zotero 7 and am enjoying the improvements and new clean look - thanks for your hard work.
I have a Google Doc that I created while I was using Zotero 6.x. After upgrading to version 7, I can only add a new citation by using the Classic View. When I use Keep Sources Sorted, I get the initial Quick Window Citation box, but when I type the author's name and , the following dialog box does not appear. It is not hidden, but I can see two windows if I hover the pointer over the Zotero icon on the taskbar. One is the program, and the other is labeled Quick Format Citation but is blank.
I updated the Chrome Connector and disabled extensions. I have switched my default to Classic View but would prefer to use Keep Sources Sorted. Thanks in advance.

But it sounds like you're conflating things here. "Keep Sources Sorted" is just an option in both the regular (Quick Format) citation dialog and the classic dialog. When you're not using the classic dialog, you're using the Quick Format dialog.
I can see the Quick Format citation window if I hover over Z on the Task Bar (see attached). If I select that window, it does nothing. Pressing Alt+Tab does the same. The only way to get out is to "X out" from the Task Bar window. This takes me back to the Google Docs at my last cursor placement, with no citation.
The only workaround I could figure out was to use the Classic Add Citation. I prefer the QFC dialog box method. Thanks again for your help.

After I got this straightened out, I checked to see if I could send you the Debug_ID, but I couldn't reproduce my original error. Everything works as it should—both the Quick Format Citation dialog box and the Classic dialog box work.
Could my original problem be related to that editor not having the Chrome connector installed? Thanks for your help.
