want pdf file of articles to be on local drive and on google drive through zotero attanger

I managed to have the pdfs to be uploaded to my g drive but I couldn't have them automatically on local drive. How can I manage this ? I see only one destination path.

Linked files are most typically all stored under the same, single folder. So that would be your cloud-mirrored folder (Goggle drive in this case). Storing attachment files as linked files to such a folder is what Attanger is designed to do.

It's not entirely clear what you mean by "local drive". Do you mean as regular (non linked) files under Zotero\storage ? With those files already stored on Google Drive, that would mean that your attachment files in Zotero were duplicated in two places.
  • Yes that is what I mean concerning the folder storage of zotero. I don't think they are duplicated they are only in Google drive and not on my local drive of the computer in the storage folder of the zotero. What I want to achieve is to give two paths one in a folder I choose or the default folder of storage zotero and the other is Google drive. And and I want to rename them because of the default name of PDFs from zotero is like a bunch of letters that are not easy to search via windows bit that is another matter.

If you want to duplicate attachments in both local Zotero storage and another folder (like Google Drive), the Zotmoov plugin can do that. Set its File Behaviour to "Copy" rather than the default "Move". The intended purpose of that option is to create a backup of each downloaded attachment file. The attachment file downloaded/saved under its item in Zotero is the standard local copy under Zotero\storage. The copy of the file in the "Directory to Move Files To" is not connected to the Zotero item in any way.
