References are not updated

Hello

The references in my word document are not updated in my bibliography. I am missing more than 30 of these. The idea of adding them manually gives me a headache.
Any ideas what could help?

First have a look at this guide and make sure your citations are still active and not flattened. You'd need to figure why that potentially has happened and potentially use a backup.

"the problem remains" isn't enough information for us to help you. The linked page explains exactly how to check whether your citations are still active. You'd have to respond to that — saying what you did and what happened — for us to say more.
