Upgrade StorageJournal abbreviations

We are testing Zotero with a view to moving our organisation to this reference manager. How ever we use journal abbreviations for all our inhouse report styles and most of them are NOT included in index medicus. Very few abbreviations are in the records of our current reference management libraries. I currently maintain a list of the nearly 20,000 abbreviations we commonly use. It would not be realistic for us to add abbreviations to individual records in over 600 libraries. (Testing from Web of Science suggests almost no abbreviations are being supplied with the records). Is there a way we can import our own abbreviation lists? I would love to recommend moving to Zotero but this would be a deal breaker for us.
