Upgrade StorageFYI: Firefox 3.6 ignored settings under Tools | Advanced | Update

Firefox was upgraded to 3.6 without permission upon opening the browser. Firefox 3.6 ignored settings under Tools | Advanced | Update. ("Ask me what I want to do". E.g., Check, do not download or update without permission.)
Firefox downloaded 3.6 without permission even tho it was known to be incompatible with Zotero 1.0.10 per the "Check For Updates" dialog. Firefox then installed automatically today upon opening. Zotero 1.0.10 was disabled. Once downloaded, there is no known way to stop Firefox automatic update.
I had delayed upgrading Zotero until I had time; now I have no choice. I issued a "rat-fink" note to Mozilla.
