Google Docs copy text including citations
I want to copy certain chapters from Google doc A to Google doc B including the citations. When I copy the text the citations appear in blue and when I want to generate a bibliography a window opens saying 'you have to enter a citation first'. When closing the window the citations appear in red and are 'unlinked'.
The problem was that doc A was opened in a Firefox browser and doc B was in a Chrome browser. Both, the Firefox and the Chrome browser hat the Zotero plugin activated. The citations could be updated in doc A and new citations could be inserted in doc A. But copying to doc B only worked when doc A was also open in the Chrome browser.
I write this since it might help someone having the same problem.
