Citation dialog stays background (linux, Gnome)
I suspect it may be related to Gnome, but I'm not sure. I have this with Zotero 7.0.3 (installed for the AUR repository, zotero-bin to be precise), running Archlinux with Gnome 46.
When I add a citation or annotation in LibreOffice for the first time of the writing session, the citation of annotation dialog appears correctly in front of the desktop, allowing to search and select the citation or annotation.
But when I add a second one, then Gnome sends a notification that the citation dialog is ready, but the dialog stays background, I have to fetch it (with +TAB for instance). I don't remember having this issue with Zotero 6.

adomasvenIt is more prevalent with Zotero 7 due to the underlying Mozilla platform update, but fundamentally this is a Gnome controlled behavior.

iGor.mOk, thanks for your answer. I'll try to ask Gnome team if there is something to do about it.

iGor.mBy the way, I have the issue with Xorg, but with Wayland it is working fine.

adomasvenI haven't tried it, but I think this should work https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1007/window-is-ready-notification-remover/

iGor.mOh, I didn't thought to search that way, that's a good idea. In the comments of the extension page, there are other interesting suggestions too. Thanks again!

iGor.mThis one did the trick for me (also with Xorg): https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/6385/steal-my-focus-window/
