export files from the web account and import them into the app

I have one account in Zotero App, another account in Web. Now I want to export files from the web account and import them into the app. However, I do not find any export functions in the web account. Can you help? Thanks!

    Do you actually have two Zotero accounts, or are you just not syncing the app?

    If you just haven't been syncing, all you need to do it set up syncing in the Sync settings.

    Generally speaking, you want to avoid exporting and reimporting your own data.

    @kliss1987_: Ah, we helped you via email as well. So these are two separate accounts. To be clear, though, there aren't "web" accounts and "app" accounts — there are just regular Zotero accounts, and you can log into both the website and the app with them.

    But if you're just looking to export the <1 dozen items you have in the other account, you can log into it on this site, select the items in the web library, click Export in the toolbar, and choose Zotero RDF. Then import that into the app.

    You should then delete that other account to avoid future confusion.
