reference is not correct even though PDF is and Zotero

so I have this reference that Zotero produced in APA format for me. The 'M' should not be capitalized.

Altmann, E., & Trafton, J. (2007). Timecourse of recovery from task interruption: Date and a Model. Psychonomic Bulletin & Review, 14(6), 1079–1084.

you can see from the image of the Zotero info there is no capital 'M', even in the PDF the 'M' is not capital. How do I remove this?

  • What happens when you right -click --> create bibliography and then copy APA to clipboard & paste it here. Same issue?
  • im sorry I am not following, right click in\on what? MS word? (I am also using a Mac and still on Zotero 6 if that matters).
  • That reference entry in Zotero in the middle panel
  • Altmann, E. M., & Trafton, J. G. (2007). Timecourse of recovery from task interruption: Data and a model. Psychonomic Bulletin & Review, 14(6), 1079–1084. https://doi.org/10.3758/BF03193094
  • it looks good there
  • Pretty sure the item in Word isn't connected to that item in Zotero. You either have a current duplicate, or you used to and deleted it, 'orphaning', if you will, the citation
  • I am looking now and I don't see this as being a duplicate. How do I get rid of said orphan? Can I delete the (correct) entry and try again?

    thanks
  • Remove the citation and reinsert it by selecting the citation that says "Library" and not document.
  • ok thanks guys that worked. I did see like 3 other references by that same name when I did that, so seems like there is a duplicate somewhere. I will keep an eye out for future mistakes.

    thanks
