I want to disenable automatic synching between my app and the online version. I hope this keeps my 'notes' unavailable to the other reviewer (so its blinded). How do I switch to manual (not automatic) synching?
You can turn off auto-sync from the Sync pane of the Zotero settings, but that wouldn't affect notes specifically — that would affect all data. That would mean that, unless you clicked the Sync button in the toolbar, Zotero wouldn't sync any data with the online library.
Can you say more about what exactly you're trying to accomplish? Generally turning off sync is not a good option.
