How to transfer citation information from one citation to another on Zotero

I have a pdf document that is the supplementary methods for one paper, but Zotero incorrectly classified it as another paper. How do I easily change the citation information to match the correct reference? I prefer not to manually copy the citation information over.

Drag the supplementary PDF from under its (incorrect) item onto the item to which it should belong. Then delete the new item that was incorrectly created. You can also add "Supplementary Methods" to the PDF title and/or file name.

If you had downloaded the PDF somewhere on your computer and just wished to add it directly to its item, you would use right-click Add Attachment.

The only complication to having it under the paper's item would be if you wish to cite the supplementary methods specifically (for which keeping it as a second item would probably be the best way to do that).
