Library gone

Hi all! I logged into zotero on my laptop for the first time in a long time, and my library is empty, save one short review article I remember looking at a while back. It is the only item (and I did log in on my computer and online, and in both places the library is empty except for this one piece. I know my workplace backs up my computer - any chance there is somewhere in my deep backup that can restore this? And does anyone know what I did?

You should be able to restore Zotero from a harddisk back-up, yes:

If I had to guess what you did, you either never synced or synced with a different account.
