IEEE STRG Click doesnt work (jumping to bibliography)

I have both citations and a bibliography. Previously i used APA and could Control-click on fields in word to jump from citation to the long form citation in the bibliography in word. how can i replicate this behavior in IEEE? its super hard to review a paper without being able to jump to the appropriate source

That has never been a thing Zotero did in any citation style (generally planned I think, but don't think any time soon).
