Parent item displayed in Item Pane after emptying the bin

If I delete only an attachment, but not its parent item, the content of the trash is:

After emptying the bin, through a right-click on the Bin collection, the metadata of the deleted attachment still appears in the Item Pane:

If I delete the parent item with the PDF file, I get:

And then, after emptying the bin, the Item Pane correctly appears empty:

Is it possible to properly refresh the Item Pane in the first case?
