Using Access with Zotero

I have an Access program designed to put a quote from an individual article in a field, then it is linked to my rewrite of that quote (for ready insertion into my paper) and then both are linked to a subject field (helping with organization when I get ready to write). Can this Access database be linked to zotero? How?

    Yes, this could be linked to Zotero, if you're willing to put in some work.

    To quote myself on a different thread:
    See the discussion at here for instructions on how to create links to Zotero items (see the bottom of the thread), and how to make your operating system open Firefox for zotero:// links. Unfortunately, there is not yet a nice, easy way to get the item number you need to create such links, but it's not that hard.
    The easiest thing to do is to create a URL field for the Zotero item URLs. Anything more complex would require more serious programming.
