How to reset Zotero without losing the library data?

I am a complete beginner of Zotero, and have explored several guidance on starting Zotero and linking Zotero with Obsidian. Unfortunately, I often stuck in the middle and had to quit... and since I've tried several versions, the data, particularly within the "config editor" was pretty messed up.

I am therefore seeking help to restart Zotero as default.

The current difficulties I'm facing:
1. I chose syn before. So even though I tried to delete the app and re-download it, it seems that it's still the same messed up settings...
2. The record I care about is the library. I have quite a few important literature and notes in the library, and I don't want to lose them.

Please give me some tips. Thanks a lot!

To reset all settings, close Zotero, go to your Zotero profile folder, and delete prefs.js.

That's your data directory, not your profile folder. Follow my link above.
